Nebius × Higgsfield Commercial Video Production Case Study: From 48-Hour Notice to 18K Organic Views

Nebius Higgsfield Customer Story Interview BTS

Enterprise video production rarely happens under perfect conditions. This commercial video production case study shows how 175 Productions responded when a complex customer story had to come together on an unusually tight timeline.

Stories evolve. Schedules change. Executives are spread across cities. Multiple production teams may need to work from the same creative vision. And highly technical subject matter still needs to connect with a broad audience.

That was the challenge when Nebius asked 175 Productions to produce a customer story about Higgsfield and Hell Grind, its 95-minute AI-generated feature film.

The finished video brought together production in Los Angeles, London, and San Francisco, along with animation, editing, color, and sound. From the first story discussions through final delivery, 175 Productions managed the complete commercial video production process.

The project also moved on an unusually short timeline. We learned about the Los Angeles shoot approximately 48 hours before filming.

The result was a technical customer story with a human center that earned approximately 18,000 organic views, compared with the few hundred organic views that comparable content had typically attracted.

The Story Behind the Technology

Higgsfield created Hell Grind as a demonstration of what modern AI filmmaking could make possible. The 95-minute feature film was developed from start to finish in just 14 days by a team of 15 people, including professional filmmakers, directors, cinematographers, and other creative professionals, with a reported budget of approximately $500,000. The film was presented in Cannes during the 2026 festival period.

The production used Higgsfield’s Soul Cinema image model and Cinema Studio to develop and bring the film to life. According to the project team, video prompts for some scenes were 3,000 to 4,000 words long, while individual scenes could require 300 to 500 variations to achieve the intended creative result. With AI video generation producing clips of only limited duration at the time, creating a feature-length narrative required an extensive process of generation, review, iteration, and selection.

That process also created significant computing demands. Higgsfield used NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs through Nebius infrastructure, allowing the company to scale computing capacity for intensive generation workloads. The team could spin up hundreds of GPUs for overnight generation and scale them back down when they were no longer needed. According to Nebius, its infrastructure configuration also delivered a 20%+ performance improvement for Higgsfield’s inference workloads.

For Nebius, however, the strongest story was not simply that an AI feature film had been created.

The more meaningful story was what made the project possible: the filmmakers behind the technology, the creative ambition driving the project, the AI tools being used, and the infrastructure that allowed Higgsfield to generate thousands of scenes at scale.

That distinction shaped our approach from the beginning.

Rather than producing a straightforward technology demonstration, 175 Productions set out to create a customer story video that showed the people behind the technology and made a technically complex relationship understandable and engaging. The film needed to connect creativity, AI, and infrastructure while giving viewers a reason to care about the people and ideas driving the project.

That became the foundation for the production that followed.

Responding With Only 48 Hours' Notice

We learned about the Los Angeles shoot approximately two days before filming.

With an established production network in Los Angeles, we were able to quickly assemble local resources. But logistics were only part of the challenge.

The director still needed to understand the larger story, identify the strongest interview opportunities, and make sure the footage would connect naturally with material being produced in other cities.

Our director flew to Los Angeles to lead the shoot in person.

That decision was important. When preparation time is limited, direct creative leadership on set helps protect the story. It allows the team to respond to unexpected opportunities, guide interviews toward useful answers, and capture the visual details needed in the edit.

This is one of the reasons a well-defined commercial video production process matters even when the production schedule changes. Speed is valuable, but moving quickly without a clear narrative can create more work later.

Our priority was to move quickly while still producing footage with purpose.

One Creative Direction Across Three Cities

The project extended beyond Los Angeles.

Production took place across Los Angeles, London, and San Francisco, requiring multiple teams to work toward the same finished film.

Behind-the-scenes interview filming for Nebius customer story

In London, an agency partner handled the local shoot. We developed the complete shot list, giving the team a clear framework for what to capture and how every shot would support the final story.

In San Francisco, our own team filmed at the Higgsfield office, documenting the people and environment behind the company’s creative AI platform.

Working across multiple production teams can easily result in footage that feels disconnected.

Different crews may interpret the brief differently, emphasize the wrong details, or create visual material that does not cut together naturally.

A detailed shot list helped keep the London production aligned, while our hands-on work in Los Angeles and San Francisco gave us direct control over the interviews and visual storytelling.

Every location served the same narrative rather than functioning as a separate production.

That kind of coordination is especially important for enterprise video production, where projects may involve executives, subject-matter experts, production teams, and stakeholders working across different locations.

Turning a Technical Story Into a Human Story

Enterprise and technology companies often have complex products and ideas to communicate.

Technical accuracy is important, but it does not automatically make a video engaging.

For the Nebius customer story, we needed to communicate several interconnected ideas:

  • The ambition behind Hell Grind
  • The filmmakers and technologists creating it
  • Higgsfield’s generative video workflow
  • The role of Soul Cinema and Cinema Studio
  • The computing demands of generating thousands of AI scenes
  • The role of NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs
  • Nebius infrastructure and its ability to scale computing resources
  • The relationship between Nebius and Higgsfield

The interviews provided the foundation, but the story needed more than interviews.

Professional interview video production helped us capture the people and expertise behind the technology. The interviews then became part of a larger visual story built from office footage, production footage, animation, sound, and editing.

This is where commercial storytelling differs from simply recording an interview. The goal is not only to capture what someone says. It is to create a finished piece that gives the audience a reason to keep watching.

Building the Story in Post-Production

Once filming was complete, all of the material came together through our post-production process.

175 Productions handled the editing, animation, color, and sound, allowing us to shape the project as one cohesive film rather than simply assembling footage from three cities.

Because our team had been involved since the story-development stage, post-production was not a separate handoff.

It was the final phase of the same creative process.

Editing

The edit balanced several layers of information:

  • The ambition behind Hell Grind
  • The filmmakers creating it
  • Higgsfield’s AI filmmaking workflow
  • The computing demands behind the project
  • Nebius infrastructure
  • The relationship between the two companies

The challenge was maintaining momentum while giving viewers enough context to understand a technically complex subject.

Animation

Some concepts could not be communicated effectively through interviews and office footage alone.

Animation helped clarify ideas around the technology and infrastructure and allowed the audience to understand relationships that would otherwise be difficult to explain visually.

Color

The footage came from multiple locations and production teams.

Color helped create consistency across Los Angeles, London, and San Francisco so the finished video felt like one production rather than several unrelated shoots.

Sound

Sound design gave the film energy and helped connect its technical subject matter to the cinematic world of Hell Grind.

For a story about filmmaking and AI, sound also helped reinforce the connection between the technology being discussed and the creative work it enabled.

A Customer Story People Chose to Watch

Before this project, comparable content had typically attracted only a few hundred organic views.

The Nebius and Higgsfield customer story reached approximately 18,000 organic views, with a strongly positive response to the finished piece.

For enterprise brands, that difference matters.

A customer story should do more than document a partnership. It should give viewers a reason to care about the customer, understand the product’s role, and stay engaged until the end.

A strong customer story can combine:

  • A compelling customer challenge
  • Real people and expert interviews
  • Clear business context
  • Visual storytelling
  • Product or technology explanations
  • A strong narrative structure

That’s why customer testimonial videos and customer stories can be valuable commercial assets when they are approached as storytelling rather than simply sales pitches. Our article on why customer testimonial videos convert better than sales pitches explores that distinction in more detail.

The Nebius project applied the same principle to a highly technical subject.

Rather than presenting Nebius infrastructure as an isolated technical product, the video showed how that infrastructure supported a real creative challenge: helping Higgsfield produce a feature-length AI film at significant speed and scale.

Why the Production Strategy Mattered

The production itself was complex, but the story needed to remain simple.

That required decisions at every stage.

The project had to determine what the audience needed to understand, which interviews would provide the strongest information, what footage would establish context, and where animation could clarify concepts that were difficult to explain through interviews alone.

This is where corporate video strategy and production intersect.

A strong video strategy starts with the audience and the message rather than the equipment.

The technology, locations, interviews, animation, and editing all need to support the same objective.

Our guide to Corporate Video Strategy explores how businesses can approach video as part of a larger marketing and communication strategy.

What This Commercial Video Production Case Study Shows

The Nebius project demonstrates why complex enterprise videos require more than a camera crew.

It required:

  • Approximately 48-hour production deployment in Los Angeles
  • Directorial leadership on the Los Angeles shoot
  • Production coordination across three cities
  • Shot-list development for the London production
  • On-location filming at the Higgsfield office in San Francisco
  • Interview and visual storytelling
  • End-to-end editing
  • Animation
  • Color
  • Sound design
  • A unified narrative across technical, creative, and business perspectives

This is what we mean by full-service commercial video production.

It is not simply providing equipment and crew.

It means taking responsibility for the story from the first conversation through the final frame.

Our Commercial & Product Video Production services are designed for businesses that need professional video to communicate a product, service, brand, technology, partnership, or business story.

What Enterprise Video Production Requires

Large organizations often need production partners who can operate across locations, respond to changing schedules, coordinate external teams, and carry a story through every stage of production.

This project required all of those capabilities at once.

The production had to move quickly while maintaining creative consistency across Los Angeles, London, and San Francisco.

It also required coordination between 175 Productions, an agency partner, the client, interview subjects, and multiple production teams.

For businesses considering commercial video production, that level of coordination is often just as important as the cameras and equipment used on set.

A production company needs to understand both sides of the project:

The production requirements and the story the audience needs to see.

From Technical Complexity to Compelling Storytelling

The Nebius × Higgsfield project began with an unusual production challenge: tell the story of a 95-minute AI-generated feature film created by a team of 15 in just 14 days.

But the finished customer story became something broader.

It showed the filmmakers behind the project, the technology they used, the infrastructure supporting the work, and the collaboration that brought the production together.

For 175 Productions, the project demonstrated what is possible when commercial video production, storytelling, and post-production are managed as one integrated process.

From a Los Angeles shoot organized with approximately 48 hours’ notice to production across London and San Francisco, every stage needed to support the same story.

And the finished result gave viewers a reason to stay and watch.
